WAUSAU - ATV riders will be able to hit the trails in central Wisconsin starting Saturday. Marathon County will open their trails at 8 o'clock a.m. The temperature needs to be below 28 degrees for the trails to stay open on any given day. Full story: WJFW

RHINELANDER - A Rhinelander music venue owner faces a charge of obstructing a police officer. The charge against 55-year-old John Mason comes from a dispute during the Bret Micheals performance at the Elbo Room on December 17th. Full story: WJFW

GREEN BAY - The Green Bay Packers have won a deadline extension to sell out Sunday's home playoff game and avoid a TV blackout. With about 3,000 tickets remaining, the Packers said Thursday the NFL granted the team's request for an extension. The new deadline is 4 p.m. Friday. Full story: WJFW

RHINELANDER - A 48-year-old man died after a fight at a Rhinelander bar Wednesday morning. Police would not confirm the mans name who died. But family members and close friends tell Newswatch 12 that 48-year-old Jim Tanner of Rhinelander was the man that died. Full story: WJFW

WATERFORD - A therapist in suburban Milwaukee is accused of physically abusing a 3-year-old autistic boy during a home therapy session. A Journal Times of Racine report (http://bit.ly/19zE9rg ) says 27-year-old Stephen T. Jacobs of Wauwatosa is charged with felony child abuse. Full story: WJFW

GREEN BAY - It seems unthinkable that Lambeau Field wouldn't sell out for a Packers playoff game. Yet thousands of tickets are still available for Sunday's wild-card game against the 49ers.
