The Surgical and Infection Prevention Account Consultant is the account manager and business builder for an assigned number of hospitals in a geographic territory. The Austin Information Technology Center (AITC) provides System Administration support for many UNIX based servers. These servers must be installed, configured, secured, backed up, tuned and monitored daily. The goal of the AITC is to achieve an extremely high degree of availability for all systems. Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain the enterprise LDAP infrastructure servers. This includes OS patching and hardware maintenance for the Oracle Solaris servers. Linux servers are maintained by the Linux SA’s Maintain the enterprise LDAP software ( Oracle Directory Server Enterprise Edition 11.1.1.5.0 ) Troubleshoot authentication issues with the Unix SA’s. Required Skills and Qualifications: Successful candidates must have at least 3-5 years of experience working in the IT industry at least some of which was within the federal IT industry as Tier 1-3 support. Must be experienced with the installation, customization, patch management and production implementation of Red Hat Linux servers in an Enterprise environment. Additionally the incumbent will have experience with Oracle Directory Server Enterprise Edition (DSEE), and OpenLDAP.
