REQUIREMENTS: This position requires glass/material to be moved from one position/location to another in an effort to expedite glass/material throughout the plant, along with the operation of some of the machines on the production floor. There is frequent lifting, bending, twisting, and reaching along with clamping hand and wrist motions. Requires standing and walking on a concrete floor while wearing steel toed metatarsal shoes for 8 or more hours daily. Must be able to understand quality requirements of our product and be able to distinguish between what is and what is not an acceptable product. This position may be in any of various departments; including furnace, cutting, fabricating, insulating, shipping, etc. and may be on first, second, or third shift. Skills include the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis including carrying, pushing, and pulling motions. Must be able to read and understand a tape measure. Read, understand, and communicate verbally and with labels and other paperwork. Starting pay is $13.50/hour. Our client is looking for an Infrastructure Analyst / Avaya Administrator w/ 3-5 years experience to assist with supporting their telephony enviorment for the enterprise, call center environments as well as retail store locations. This person will be joining a team of four for a 3 month contract that could extend as well as convert full time. Ideally searching for a canddiate who is strong with the Avaya platform with a strong VOIP background. This person will support their ticket queue, troubleshoot user issues, complete user requests and escalate to engineer's when necessary. * Day to day management of Enterprise VoIP/SIP environment to maintain service level up times and availability * Manages day to day ticket queue, troubleshoots user issues and completes user requests. Analyzes request and incident reports and identifies trends * Support 3rd shift changes and incidents as needed. * Adhere to ITIL processes for Change, Problem, and Incident Management. * Provide daily operational support for implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting of Avaya servers and gateways running telephony services in multiple data centers, contact centers and business offices. * Support Voice/Telephony during service interruptions with minimal supervision. This includes managing vendors and communicating status to management team. * Maintain the appropriate relationships with 3rd party vendors and evaluate vendor hardware, software, and communications products in order to provide recommendations for purchases with our corporate objectives in mind. * Identify improvements and changes needed in the infrastructure to achieve the technology organization goals * Troubleshoot and remediate SIP messaging and CTI integration issues * Contribute to the infrastructure roadmap that meets operational goals * Provide project management oversight to infrastructure initiatives and participate in IS and Enterprise projects as needed * Implements technology and infrastructure changes * Provides support and ongoing knowledge transfer to tier 1 & 2 support teams * Manage effective issue identification and resolution process; serve as the focal point for infrastructure-related issue resolution * Identify cost savings opportunities and areas to more effectively manage assets * Establishes process and procedures in their area of expertise * Support identification and collection of metrics and performance reporting processes * Serves as an experienced and proficient technical resource * Perform root cause analysis, and make recommendations for corrections and improvements * Participate in rotating 'on-call' schedule within team.
