Details: Interim Chief Financial Officer - North of KC Must have prior public company experience Likely a 6-9 month project Our client is seeking an Interim Chief Financial Officer to work very closely with the Chief Executive Officer to play a critical and highly involved role as a senior leader in the company and provide hands-on leadership to the finance function while simultaneously keeping it aligned to the overall business strategy. Leading financial compliance efforts in accordance with SEC regulations and requirements Communicating effectively and credibly to the company’s internal and external constituencies, including employees, the Board of Directors, investors, bankers, etc. Key Requirements: Prior experience as the CFO or other Senior Executive within a publicly traded company Significant financial leadership experience Strong, balanced, technical financial skills with an operational orientation Deep understanding, not only of the financial dynamics of a business, but its operating dynamics as well Excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills; ability to thrive while being tested and pushed by the financial backers Demonstrated capability of interfacing directly with senior management, board of directors, as well as internal and external constituencies Success in building, mentoring and managing dynamic teams, often with various personality styles.
