Maintenance Technician

Details: The Maintenance Technician’s responsibilities include the following; Maintain and troubleshoot all injection molding machines, robotic cells, mechanical rooms and auxiliary equipment. In addition to repairing equipment the technician will complete predictive, preventative and scheduled maintenance as required on all equipment assigned. As a senior maintenance technician the individual will also be required to assist in training others to that skill level. The Mechanical Technician will be a member of the Maintenance Team at the Chicago plant reporting to the Manager of Maintenance. This individual’s responsibilities include; maintain and improve the reliability of the production equipment and processes in the plant including; data gathering, failure analysis, troubleshooting, repair and development of predictive/preventative maintenance programs for equipment. The Maintenance Technician will work closely with Maintenance and Process Supervisors to maintain performance of the equipment. This is critical to plant safety and operations reliability. Duties and Responsibilities: Troubleshoots equipment problems, and makes procedure recommendations to operations and maintenance. Diagnoses root cause and specifies method of repair for plant equipment and processes. Analyzes work orders for equipment. Prepares cost and schedule estimates, makes recommendations as to the methodology, equipment, and material requirements Coordinates the creation of the spare parts list and lubrication list for the entire plant in conjunction with Vendor recommendations and industry standards. Assists in the selection, testing, training and development of in-house technicians for repair and diagnosis. QA Inspector

Details: Aerotek Scientific is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Quality Assurance Inspector position. This will be a first shift contract to hire opportunity. All candidates must be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check. Job Description: This person is responsible for the overall daily compliance with quality systems. Their main job is to ensure adherence to cGMP's by site personnel. They will interact with the lab and production so must have good communication skills and documentation. Their job is to use sample probes to check all incoming raw material that is trucked in, they will then take the sample to the lab for the techs to run tests on, after that they will review and document. Part of their job is to also sticker and label in process and finished goods. (For example, "blue" sticker means the product is okay to use in process, while "green" means product is ok to ship) So, about 30% is documenation and the other 70% will be sampling and labeling. Being assertive in the QA Inspector role is key, if they see something that is out of spec, the inspector must be okay with stopping the line or escalating the issue to the QA lead or QA manager. Qualifications: HS diploma or Associates. Must have held a QA (on the floor) position for at least 2 years. They need to have an understanding of documenation as well as pulling samples and handing over to the QC lab. Essential Functions: Support the definition of the product strategy and roadmap with prioritized features and corresponding justification that supports the company’s overall strategy and goals Manage the full product lifecycle Work with internal stakeholders to create buy-in, educate, respond to business needs and prioritize new features and capabilities Work with other subject matter experts across the organization to understand business challenges, current capabilities, and develop a robust product roadmap that anticipates business needs for new capabilities Create and maintain a features and capabilities matrix Define and oversee requirements and use cases definition; partner with the Business to gain consensus and approvals Partner with IT and influence execution and approach of UAT (user acceptance testing) and launch preparation; be hands-on with UAT execution and managing the Product team during this phase. Loss Prevention / Asset Protection Area Investigator - North San Jose

Balances theft and fraud trends, safety and security, and inventory control strategies to identify and apply a broad range of Asset Protection techniques/solutions to control potential or actual losses or threats. Establishes and maintains a safe and working environment for all associates and customers, and identifies losses and develops actionable plans to prevent loss and reduce shrinkage while promoting asset protection awareness within stores. Job Responsibilities Participates as a specialized knowledge resource in established processes. Suggests improvements to business processes and independently completes small sub-projects within a defined course of action. Will organize specialized and defined information for review. Tends to reference documented process and practices and learning from previous experience to address challenges. May handle more common complex challenges but escalates situations that have not been encountered previously. Most decisions are based on prescribed and dictated guidelines. Actively seeks the input and opinions of Store stakeholders and Regional AP Leadership to work within available constraints and resources. 15%: Audits and validates compliance with physical security standards and other Operation Audit Best Practice standards (EAS, CCTV, alarm, locks, cash office, receiving, etc.). Provides store-by-store coaching to Team Members as appropriate to correct any deficits or to identify business process failures that require remediation. Maintains accurate Asset protection records and completes all Asset Protection Reports in a timely manner and promptly distribute them to all appropriate parties. 10%: Continually maintain proactive communications with appropriate business partners and serves as the subject matter expert to assist Store Teams within the District/s on AP criteria.
