RHINELANDER - The Rhinelander man accused of violating his sex offender registration will go back to prison. Judge Michael Bloom sentenced Albert Chagnon in Oneida County court today. The 31-year-old originally served prison time in 2002 for child pornography. Now he'll head back to prison for the third time for a felony charge of failure to update his sex offender registration. MADISON - Republicans who control the state Assembly say they are confident a mining bill will protect the environment and bring jobs to Wisconsin despite Democrats who say it will harm air and water quality. The Assembly began debate of the measure Thursday. It was expected to pass in the late afternoon. Full Story: WJFW

MERRILL - Some big changes could be coming to a school near you. The school district of Merrill will have a new Superintendent next year. Come April 2nd they'll have a new school board too. Candidates in the school board race are ready to fight for one of the three open spots. Full Story: WJFW

RHINELANDER - Giving blood saves lives. But just one blood bank serves every Ministry hospital in the area. They face a supply and demand fight every day. "It's amazing how much blood the body holds. MENOMINEE - The second victim of a semi crash in western Wisconsin is still missing. Today, authorities again search the icy waters of the Red Cedar River. The State Patrol said yesterday two Minnesota men are believed to have died when their semi slid off Interstate 94, down an embankment and into the River near Menomonie. Full Story: WJFW

MADISON - People looking for work should soon have some extra help. The state Senate passed one of Governor Scott Walker's plans to increase funding for workforce training. Full Story: WJFW

RHINELANDER - The Minocqua man accused of choking a child with a popsicle will go to jail for the next three months. 45-year-old Daniel Stevens reached a deal with prosecutors in Oneida County court today. Full Story: WJFW

PORTAGE COUNTY - A missing K-9 officer in Portage County gets a reunion with his friends in law enforcement. The Wood County Sheriff's Department plans a press conference at 1 p.m. The Wood County Sheriff's Department rescue facebook page confirms Toro has been found. Full Story: WJFW
