Community shows off its attractions through a 21st century scavenger hunt

PHELPS - Take a scavenger hunt. Give it a 21st century twist, and you get Geocaching. You can help the Health Department track West Nile in Oneida County

RHINELANDER - A dead crow in Woodruff tested positive for West Nile Virus. It's the first positive test in Oneida County this year. Mosquitoes that bite a sick bird can transmit the virus to people. Eighty percent of people with the virus never show any signs. But if you do, you'll have symptoms like fever, muscle aches and headache. Full Story: WJFW

Power shut off leaves ranch and horses without water

HARSHAW - No power means no water for the animals at Leanne Chaney's ranch. This was a big problem this week when high electric bills caused her to fall behind on payment. "They could have died... on a 90 degree day with a heat index in excess of that, in the hot sun... The horses had been without power, without water since 9:23 that morning," says Chaney.
