Two men on bath salts get bonds in the thousands

Two Antigo men that had charges filed on them yesterday have received high bonds from the court. Jerry Piper, 36, of Fifth Avenue received a bond amount of $10,000 cash for charges of possessing a firearm as a felon, possession of drug paraphernalia and 3 counts of felony bail jumping. His situation was described in yesterday's paper (http://antigodailyjournal.com/index.php?ID=17268)and allegedly involved the use of bath salts. Travis J. Koeppel, 33, of Marl Road received a bond of $5,000 cash for charges of felony bail jumping, disorderly conduct, resisting or obstructing an officer and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also allegedly using bath salts as described in that same article as Mr. Piper. Both men have court scheduled for September 9 at 1:30pm.

I just hope that nobody feels like throwing there money away because that"s what will happin if they bail these people out. Bathsalt should = no bail. these people have lost control once they have started this shit.i know a hundred people on this sh-t and i see murders on the horizon. stop letting our court system leach off of these bath salters parents n loved ones pockets by keeping there bail jumping money. everyone knows that the salters go right back to the shaker once there bailed out. :(....... sad
