After years and years of clutter and mess, it looks as though something is FINALLY being done with Mike's Service Center on Superior Street.
I have noticed a few cars have been removed and it looks like more are in the process.
I am glad to see this happening and I hope that it will remain clean and presentable.

Mike is out of town for a few weeks, so he left his son Joey in charge of the shop in his absence. Joey has a few friends who have been coming by to help him out with cleaning, organizing and vehicle removal. I sincerely hope that Mike appreciates all the hard work that has gone into cleaning up the place!

Mike is out of town for a few weeks and he left his son Joey in charge of the shop. Joey is working hard trying to get things cleaned up and changed (for the better) before his father gets back.
Stop in and thank him, or lend a hand. If you see him at the bar, buy the man a drink! Good job Joey and about time.

Oh my god! That place has been an eye sore for so long! I can't wait to see the difference that his son can make.
The mayor was in Dixie this morning commenting on how much better it is already starting to look! Good job Joseph!

I'm not sure how this is going to help if the owner isn't the one who is actually cleaning things up. He is just going to fill it up with new junk after his son leaves. All that hard work will have been for nothing. Why hasn't the city done something about the mess? A fine or have him closed down until it's cleaned up?

Just because it was the son who did the cleaning doesn't mean that the man in charge will go back to the way things were! And what happens if the son stays and takes over the business? Mike is getting up there and deserves some respect. Yes, his place was a mess... key word being "was." Be happy that it got done, instead of picking apart the good to purposely look for the bad.
I drove past earlier, and it looks like Mike is back and his son is still here. The clean up process continues, even with Mike being here! So now what big mouth? Mike is obviously behind his son's actions to clean the place up 100%, otherwise vehicles wouldn't still be being removed and such!

I swung by and took a look at things. I must say that the place has definately been cleaned up for the better. It looks like this might just be the beginning of the clean up effort though, so I look forward to seeing the place looking like it did in its hay day.
