Details: Residence Life Coordinator-Male (RLC) South Carolina Governor's School for Science and Mathematics Overview: The Residence Life Coordinator develops and supervises the residential living environment at the Governor's School, which includes providing a safe, healthy, and fun living experience for approximately 288 high school students. Professionals in this position develop and offer programming focused on the whole person, provide counseling, interpret and enforce community standards, and administer discipline as necessary. Position Details: The Residence Life Coordinator (RLC) is a full-time state of South Carolina, 10-month, live-in position with full benefits. Target start date is August 1, 2015, but position could be filled sooner if schedules allow. A furnished apartment suite (two bedrooms, two baths, living area and office area, balcony, etc.), and meal plan are provided. Qualifications: Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a human services related field with comparable experience, but a Master's degree in student affairs administration, counseling, education, psychology, or related field is preferred. Night work and weekend work is required, as is a valid driver's license. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with education and experience.
