The No. 11 seeded Wisconsin women’s basketball team came out firing Thursday night, but the Badgers’ hot start wasn’t enough to sustain the Badgers in a 74-68 overtime loss to No. 6 seed Minnesota in the first round of the Big Ten tournament.

Jacob Bresser follows in the foot steps of Jefferson Dahl and Saxton Soley as he was named Mr. Hockey, the award for the states best player. Bresser won the award by the slimmest of margins, by just one vote. Bresser with 56 goals and 23 assists is honored to add his name to the list of the best players in the state of Wisconsin.
