Thorp Wins State Championship; Blair-Taylor Runner-Up
Thorp won its first State championship with a 47-40 victory over Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran in the Division 5 final Saturday. While Dominican became just the sixth program to win three consecutive State championships with a 74-50 win over Blair-Taylor in the Division 4 final

Ben Brust scored a career-high 29 points and Frank Kaminsky had 12 rebounds to lead No. 12 Wisconsin to an 83-57 rout over Minnesota 83-57 in Friday's Big Ten tournament quarterfinals.
Elk Mound loses in overtime in state semifinal
Lodi and Elk Mound matched each other shot for shot during most of the Friday's division three WIAA State Boys Basketball semifinal, but in the end, the Mounders fell short in overtime, losing 50-47.

A jammed packed Thursday of Basketball action! Down at boys state basketball, Thorp and Blair-Taylor advanced to the state championship games on Saturday. Blair-Taylor advances to State Championship!
Blair-Taylor (23-3) advanced to the final following a 47-32 win over Unity in its semifinal. The Wildcats took advantage on an early scoring run to take a 21-6 advantage at the end of the first quarter and never trailed.

Thorp advances to boys basketball state title game
It was a nail biter, but Thorp held on to defeat Cochrane-Fountain Ciry 54-52 in the Division 5 state semifinal at the Kohl Center. They will Green Bay NEW Lutheran in the state title game on Saturday at 11:35 am.
