New library move underway in Marshfield

Verizon Wireless is suing the City of Appleton because its Common Council rejected the company's plans for a cell tower. A civil complaint filed by Verizon says the council's decision is in direct conflict with Wisconsin law. Granton Community Library to close for maintenance

The Granton Community Library will close Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. due to maintenance. The closure affects a books signing for local author Jay Parker who had a scheduled stop at the library Tuesday night. Parker is the author of Granton: A Stop on the Stage Route. The book signing will be moved to the Granton village office Tuesday night from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
