Plover man sent to prison for deadly bat attack

STEVENS POINT (WAOW) - A 33-year-old Plover man was sentenced to life in prison Tuesday for the baseball bat beating death of his 77-year-old stepfather, but a judge allowed him to be eligible for parole after serving 20 years, according to online Portage County court records.
