Milwaukee Common Council to take final vote on food truck ban
MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Common Council will take a final vote on whether to ban food trucks on Milwaukee's south side Tuesday.
The Common Council's Public Safety Committee approved a measure that would ban the trucks in the 11th District.
Alderman Joe Dudzik said it is a matter of public safety.
The full council is expected to vote on the measure at a 9 a.m. meeting.
5 arrested following high speed chase
RACINE -- Five people are now in custody after a high speed chase that started in Franklin and ended in Racine.
According to the Racine Police Department, the suspects were involved in a carjacking/armed robbery in Franklin.
The chase ended around 4:30 a.m. at 14th and Main streets in Racine when the suspects stopped and fled the vehicle.
They were later caught.
At one point the suspects were traveling more than 100 miles an hour.
