Wed, 01/28/2015 - 7:03am
RACINE -- Governor Walker is heading to Racine and will be making several other stops around the state Wednesday. But it's what he'll be talking about after those events that has everyone's attention. Walker will be at the Wisconsin Apprenticeship Summit at 9 a.m. Wednesday, but afterward he'll likely be answering questions for the first time about a new committee he's formed. Yesterday, Walker took formal steps for a 2016 presidential run. He announced that he has formed an exploratory committee called "Our American Revival." The committee will pay for travel and raise money for a presidential bid. Walker has also hired a political adviser to oversee his efforts in Iowa. This comes just days after the governor visited a conservative summit in Iowa along with several other possible presidential candidates. The governor had said in the past he's not going to make a decision on a presidential run until later this year.
