Mark Roth and Marshall Holman combined to win 56 Professional Bowlers Association titles during their hall of fame careers, so the fact that neither won in Milwaukee is something of an anomaly. Both, however, had close calls.

UW-Parkside suffered an early knockout as it was handed its first loss in league play, 75-52, to Bellarmine on Saturday in Louisville, Ky.

Strong defense and lots of goals from Ian Bennett lifted the Wave to a 9-4 win over the Detroit Waza Flo at Melvindale Civic Arena.

Sammy Kozlowski and the New Berlin Eisenhower girls basketball team stayed hot Saturday.
