Davis, White of US win Olympic ice dance gold
Meryl Davis and Charlie White won the gold medal in ice dance Monday, the first Olympic title in the event for the United States. Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir of Canada, the 2010 champions, took silver.

It was a night 62 years in the making for the U.S., with the pairing of Steven Holcomb of Park City, Utah, and Steve Langton of Melrose, Mass., taking the bronze, winning the first two-man bobsled medal by an American sled since 1952.
