In 2009, major-league baseball’s All-Star Game telecast in St. Louis had on average of almost 14.6 million viewers. Last year in New York, it drew 11.0 million viewers, which was 100,000 more than the previous season in Kansas City, when viewership for the show was an all-time low (10.9 million).
LeBron James meets with Pat Riley, but makes no decision
The Miami Heat president met with the four-time National Basketball Association MVP on Wednesday afternoon in Las Vegas, two people familiar with the situation said, speaking on condition of anonymity because neither side publicly disclosed details of the meeting.
