Kimberly 11, Fond du Lac 0 (5 inn.): The Cardinals were two-hit in a home loss to the Papermakers.

Fond du Lac 6, Appleton North 1: The Cardinals bounced back well from Thursday's 7-0 loss to Kimberly - the first duel loss of the season - earning a convincing road win at Appleton.

Arrowhead quadrangular: The Mayville soccer team dropped the first game of the tournament Friday, losing 2-0 to Badger.

Neenah 15, Fond du Lac 0 (5 inn.): The Cardinals dropped to 1-14 on the season after being shut out by the Rockets at home.

EWC mini-meet doubleheader: Campbellsport had three players shoot in the 30s as the Cougars edged Sheboygan Falls in the first meet played at Hon-E-Kor Golf Club in Kewaskum.

Flyway mini-meet: In a doubleheader played at Rolling Meadows Golf Course, Winnebago Lutheran came away with a first and second-place finish, shooting a 158 and a 163.

In the second inning of Friday's game against visiting Laconia, Spartans' Jacob Redeker hit a deep fly ball sailing to right center field that initially looked good for a double.

Trailways North mini-meet: Central Wisconsin Christian's Logan Ganz shot a 41 to earn medalist in a six-team meet played at Lake Breeze Golf Course in Oshkosh.

Lomira 12, West Bend West 6: The Lions used a seven-run third inning to get past the Spartans at home.
