Brew Ha Ha – A Micro Brew and Root Beer Event

Princeton’s first-ever Brew Ha Ha is not just another beer festival – It’s a family beer tasting event! This event celebrates brews of all kinds offering adults a chance to enjoy a sampling of an assortment of specialty CRAFT BEERS while offering delicious ROOT BEERS and SPECIALTY SODAS for the rest of the family with live music, snacks and outdoor games for you to enjoy as well! Taste your way through a street full of brew tents while local favorite, Pat Kaping, plays classic summer tunes. Beer-themed snacks and buckets of peanuts will overflow on the streets to cleanse your palette between sips.
“We wanted to do something to make our beer tasting a little more fun than the average beer event. We added the root beer for the kids or for couples where only one of them may want to participate in the beer tasting but both are looking for something fun to do together,” Angela Zodrow, one of the event coordinators, said. “By offering beers as well as root beers and sodas, everyone can come and have a good time.”
The Brew Ha Ha will take place under tents, rain or shine, in the heart of historic downtown Princeton on the 600 block of Water Street.
July 12 from 1pm-4pm.
Adults 21 & Over: $25 - Includes unlimited tasting and collectible tasting glass!
21 & Under or Adults wishing only to sample the sweeter side of beer: $10 - Includes unlimited root beer and soda tasting.
Well worth the drive, Princeton is “about an hour from anywhere.” Being home to the state’s largest outdoor weekly flea market, Saturdays in summer are always bustling. Princeton is also known as an antique Mecca and that, combined with the trendy and well-known Shops of Water Street which occupy the historic buildings that line the downtown street, has helped make Princeton “where the shopping is” in the area.
Tickets for the Brew Ha Ha are available now at Twister (602 W. Water Street) or can be purchased the day of the event. Proceeds will go to The Shops of Water Street's ongoing efforts to revitalize and beautify Water Street, downtown Princeton.
