According to news reports, another incident involving a bath salt user happened at Chase bank, with the man scaring the bank employees.
The 45 year old Antigo man, who is a convicted felon, is now facing charges of possessing a firearm as a felon, disorderly conduct and resisting or obstructing an officer.
He had apparently gone into the bank and gave a note to the teller, asking her to call 911 because he thought someone was going to kill him. He became combative when police arrived and backup had to be called. He was taken into custody and allegedly told officers that he had done bath salts. Law enforcement found a gun by his mailbox, ammunition inside the residence and also in the man's pocket.
(court records indicate this person to be Wayne Tullberg)

This is very sad, Wayne is not a bad person, as I am sure none of these users are. The problem here, what can be done? Prohibition does NOT work. Look at Wayne, for instance, I believe he was already in prison for drugs in the past, did it help him? Maybe, but, for how long? Apparently not long enough.
The police can only do so much. The stuff isn't even really illegal I don't think, I mean, the charges that the DA uses are just hazardous substance abuse charges, which is a misdemeanor. The police/DA/Judge don't have a lot of choices, there are rules to follow and yes, this whole thing is a money maker for the system. Beyond sad in my opinion.

People are still in charge of their own actions. Despite the person being "nice", it really isn't normal behavior to be going to a bank, creating a scene, handing a teller a note to call 9-1-1, having the police show up, and creating such a scene, the police need back up.
Rehab only goes so far, in order for the person to be able free themselves from the demons, they have to take control of their life, and take the initiative to be a better person. As far as prison, I don't believe in locking up non-violent drug offenders. Whatever people do in the privacy of their own home is their business, However, this crosses the line of being dangerous to other people.

Wayne needs(ed) help, you've all seen his posts on here and many of you probably have him on Facebook and know what he is all about, in fact I just read one where he is talking about addicts needing help in your community with nowhere to go but a single weekly NA meeting.
You scared alot of people Wayne, and you are going to have to answer to what you did this day for a long time. I do understand a big part of why it happened and I know that you feel terrible about it all and I forgive you.
Like I have been telling you for quite some time, you have to take personal responsibility for your actions and capitalize on each and every improvement no matter how insignificant. You will get another chance after serving your debt to society but it is ON YOU to make your life better until that day comes.
