According to court documents, Michael Poch's jury trial is over with. He was accused of sexually assaulting a young girl.
The information reports that Poch was found not guilty on both counts and the case was dismissed.
The court records indicate that Poch had an alibi, which sounded like it had something to do with Shawano County jail.
The trial lasted 2 days.

I would hope the Community is just as rabid at demanding the Officers and or Deputies and D.A. who claimed to have "investigated" this matter be held accountable. Labeling any person a child rapist and then dragging them from across country when even good ol' Officer Pfife could have cleared him. If even the most basic investigation had occurred.

I think the information about him being in jail at the time is not correct, I think that it was something he was using to look credible possibly? The offense date says June 1 and the dates when he was in jail was like the 12th thru the 14th or something like that...

I am not sure what to believe regarding this case. I think the way it has turned out that the authorities should be addressing the public as to when this man was in actual custody in Shawano. To put out to everyone the facts regarding that. I don't have one ounce of sympathy for any molester. I also don't condone condemning someone who didn't commit a crime they stand charged with. I just can't see 12 persons freeing an accused child rapist. Unless they were presented with irrefutable evidence that exonerated him from being anywhere other than jail. Unless someone can show everyone otherwise.

All his attorney had to do was give the Jury "Reasonable Doubt"...THAT is ALL. And as far as any Evidence...it happened so long ago it would be hard to find any. Testimony is hear say...I find it VERY hard to believe anyone recalls certain days from years ago--unless of course something "Signifigant" such as a RAPE had occurred...I thought it was "ODD" that these lowlifes that testified on behalf of him "conveiniently" recalled...they all stick together. just like the rest of the druggies in this town. Everyone knows that.

As I said in the previous posting---The Jury did infact give a "not Guilty" but that is ONLY because the DA didn't Prove the case...He IS infact GUILTY! I know this little Girl. Fair question. My guess would be that miserable towns have a higher ratio of pissed off people residing there. Antigo used to be fun to visit. Not the same feeling of welcome as it had in the 80's and 90's. My relatives have said they even made it illegal to drive the "LOOP" a while back. Sad it used to be a really fun town ! At least it was something to get everyone out and have some fun.

He was in Jail June 12 to the 14th, 2010. He was Abusive to The Girls Mother. She infact is the One that called the Police. All She wanted was for him to leave(asked to go to his Parents or some place else) That is when The Police Dept found out He had a WARRENT for Shawano County...He was transported There that night. I believe it was his Live-in GF or Her Mother that bailed him out...To THIS DAY--That Girlfriend has a Domestic Violence Restraining Order up till 2015, This restraining order was granted to Her in the beginning of 2011. For some reason unknown(I was at the Jury Trial) ALL of these facts were not used. And a few others. Such as 2 wittinesses that were willing to testify that mike had ADMITTED to Them what he had done to the little Girl.--I was SHOCKED to hear the "Not Guilty" Verdict(as were Many)...I had left the Jury Trial a few times so I didn't know that the DA didn't use ALL the wittinesses...I for One Believe the Girl. I saw the Video of Her Forensic Interview. SAD. and the fact that She wrote Her Mother a suicide letter must have been Heart Crushing. --He threatened that little Girl not to tell-or He would hurt Her Mother AGAIN. (She had seen the bruises and blackeyes)...I felt physically SICK when I heard he wasn't put away. All that Family wanted was to PROTECT Other Children from him.

I haven't heard about this...unfortunately Nothing surprises Me in THIS town.-----I can remember when My now 22year old Daughter was a teenager and She would sneak off to party Friday night...I would report Her as a runaway and the Police Dept thought I was a JOKE! My Daughter later told Me that an Officer approached Her and told Her "Hey, Your Mom called You in as a runaway again-You should go home"...well-She was suppose to be put in Juvie when found! The Cops in this town are too damn busy trying to make friends! They need to do Their damn job!...this town is HORRIBLE!
