Friday incidents with law enforcement

Some incidents reported on Friday include theft, a family dispute, and car accident. A 36 year old man was cited for retail theft for an incident at the Antigo walmart. He had tried to leave the store without paying for merchandise in his cart. The same man was seen on video doing the same thing on two other occasions and getting away with it (temporarily). A man from the Pickerel area was arrested for an argument with his niece, whom he was threatening. The 60 year old was disrespectful to law enforcement officers, calling them names while he was taken into custody. A 2 car accident was reported at Highway T and 55. There were no injuries but one of the drivers took away the other driver's keys, telling officers that she was intoxicated and shouldn't drive. The woman claimed that the man had assaulted her and she was not intoxicated. The man will be charged with disorderly conduct.

Was the woman given a breathalyzer? If its Antigo PD they only do enough of their job to punch a clock so prob not. Also, It prob isn't at all obvious that people usually don't take another persons keys away unless they believe that the person may be drunk. The woman was mad, told a lie and a guy who had a concern for the publics safety and the woman's safety gets charged? Typical Antigo "justice."

I would VERY much like to see this Police Report...It really doesn't sound right now does it?

i don't know if this is helpful info but if you want to read the report, i came across the police report on Tamie Yarie online, it was posted in some forum but anyone doubtful on the information can buy it for $5 at the Langlade co. sherriff's dept. Stuff like that is public record.
