Jail time for morphine injection into child

According to news reports, one of the women who have been charged with forcibly injecting morphine into a 12 year old girl's arm has received a jail sentence for her actions.

Erikka N. Vancos of Mattoon (formerly of Antigo), age 19, entered a plea of no contest to charges of child abuse and intentionally contributing to the delinquency of a child. She received a sentence of 60 days in jail. A false imprisonment charge was dismissed.

The 12 year old girl contracted Hepatitis C from the incident, which was revealed months later at a doctor visit.

Another woman in the case, Nicole Bessert, age 20, has not yet been sentenced.

This is OUTRAGEOUS!!! Both these girls gave this 12 year old "a life sentence" of illness and shortened her life span and get 60 days!? Is that justice? Who is going to pay for the medications and Doctor bills this girl will face the rest of her poor life? Mr D.A., stop being "best buds" with these "paid for" lawyers and seriously do your job! They killed this girl!!!
