Two and a half years in prison was the punishment ordered here Thursday for a town of Rolling man on whose property last summer law officers found marijuana plants standing tall as trees and having an estimated street sale price when harvested between $100,000 and $120,000.

That estimated sale price is insane. I saw the photos. These cops are disgusting, greatly inflating the value, to further their rapist careers. Disgrace to law enforcement. The war on drugs is a crime against humanity. This is an atrocity.

The numbers are not that far off. Plants that size can easily yield 6-10 ounces each depending on growing conditions and the strain of cannabis. The newspaper article stated that 48 plants were found. That would be a potential harvest of 18-30 lbs. A conservative wholesale value of high-grade grass in central Wisconsin is $3,500 a pound, which would equal $63,000-$105,000....wholesale. Street price to the end buyer for high grade is $400 an ounce which would equal $115,200-$192,000
