So, after reading the news article today about Nicole Bessert and her plea deal, I am wondering how much jail time she will actually get?
Some background on the story: Bessert has pleaded guilty to physical abuse of a child, intentionally causing harm and contributing to the delinquency of a child after she forced a 12 year old girl to take morphine by shooting it up her arm. Bessert and another woman held the girl down and injected her. The girl contracted Hepatitis C from it.
In the Antigo Daily Journal story, at the very end it says that Bessert could get 6 years in prison for the felony charge, but how much do you think she will get?
It seems that all too often the DA with his plea deals doesn't come anywhere close to a maximum sentence for anyone. I know that it is ultimately the Judge's decision, but, most of the time he seems to just agree with the deal that the DA made.

Does that Nicole have Children of Her own? If so...Id have to think Her Parental Rights should be terminated. And what about Yarie? She held the Girl down...She should be stripped of Her Parental Rights too!

Yarie doesn't have anything to do with this case. The other woman's name is Erikka Vancos (sp?).
Not sure if Nicole has kids, if so they are probably taken away...

Yes, Nicole does have children that her older sister has temporary custody of. I have heard stories from family members that this Nicole thinks this is a huge joke. The little girl is extremely ill. Channel 7 has an interview with the mother of the girl who is afraid she is going to get off with a slap on the wrist and it says her daughter is extremely suicidal. This is terrible! Nicole deserves years in prison she ruined a little girls life.

I went to high school with Nikki Bessert. She was always a waste of space there too. It isn't surprising at all that she's a criminal now.
