Langlade County criminal court activity 05.19.2014

Some arrest warrants were authorized, some cases resolved and new charges filed in Langlade County court.

Arlie J. Balthazor of Clintonville, 46, was fined $100 plus court costs for operating while revoked.

Mark A. Blahnik of Clintonville, 44, paid $350 cash bond for charges of possession of marijuana and operating while revoked. His next court date is scheduled for June 16.

Anthony J. Flasch of North Avenue, 28, had bond set at $250 cash for disorderly conduct, possession of drug paraphernalia and felony bail jumping. He is set to return to court on June 23.

Brett M. Henckel of Summit Lake, 46, failed to appear in court for a charge of theft of video service connection. A body only warrant was authorized for his arrest.

Lucas J. Jahnke of Wausau, 36, had bond lowered from $3,000 cash down to $1,500 cash for three counts of retail theft and misdemeanor bail jumping.

Sawyer M. Olson of Waunakee, 18, received a $500 signature bond for charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is scheduled to return to court on June 16.

Melanie Thompson of Summit Lake, 21, failed to appear on a charge of theft of video service connection. A body only warrant was authorized for her arrest.

Devon W. Martin of Rhinelander, 24, was fined $100 plus costs for resisting or obstructing an officer.

Joshua D. Masters of Birnamwood, 22, was sentenced to one year probation for criminal damage to property and theft. He must pay restitution of $302.74 and court costs. In a separate case, he was sentenced to two years probation for possession of marijuana and possession with intent to deliver marijuana. The probation terms will run concurrent. If probation is completed successfully, the charges may be expunged.

New charges filed today:

Brocklyn J. Marten of Pearson, 34, is charged with operating while revoked and failing to install or tampering with an ignition interlock device. The incidents happened on May 2.

Brett A. Spotswood of Gleason, 22, is charged with carrying a concealed weapon, resisting or obstructing an officer, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. An initial appearance is set for June 2.

Faith A. Cham of Lincoln Street, 34, is charged with theft, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her next court date is scheduled for June 16.
