Free car ferry won't be ready when Black Hawk Bridge closes
The Black Hawk Bridge in Lansing will be demolished in mid-December, causing disruption to commuters and travelers. To mitigate this, the Wisconsin and Iowa Departments of Transportation are providing a free car ferry service. The bridge will close October 20.
