Wet & Foggy Weather to Turn Wintry Monday

Fog and rain Sunday night to becoming light snow Monday morning after daybreak.  Only light accumulations expected in our part of the state with greater amounts in far southern Wisconsin and the Lake Superior Snow Belt.  It will be windy and colder Monday with areas of drifting snow and slippery roads.  We should dry out by Tuesday.

PINE RIVER (WAOW) -- A 51-year-old man from Warren, Minn. was taken to the hospital after a car accident in the town of Pine River in Lincoln County.Wisconsin State Patrol officers say the accident happened around 8:30 p.m. Saturday and one vehicle was involved.They say the driver was traveling along Highway 64 and tried to turn onto County Road W at an accelerated speed.
