Forest Co. horse put down after mosquito gives it deadly virus
MADISON (WAOW) - A two-month-old filly from Forest County is the first reported Wisconsin horse to have become infected with mosquito-carried eastern equine encephalitis, the state Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection Department said Wednesday.
